SOME EXPECTED ACTIVITIES for SUMMER CAMP EXTERNAL MISSIONS of the DSHJ

The duration can be: short – medium – long

• School of cutting and sewing
• Help in literacy courses (elementary level)
• Help in pre-literacy courses (cognitive, recreational, manual, recreational activities, etc., for children aged 3-7)
• Help in the dispensary (small nursing activities and assistance to the sick
• Visit and help in the home care of some sick, lonely elderly, mentally ill, etc.
• Experience with adults with disabilities
• Experience with disabled children
• Animation for street children
• Musical animation in small groups in the church, in the mission or on the street
• Help in catechetical activities in the parish or on the street
• small collaboration in street theater activities
• Recreational entertainment in indoor or outdoor spaces
• Distribution of food
• Distribution of clothing
• Help in craft activities
• Small restoration work in the mission (painting, electrical or plumbing, masonry and small carpentry in general)
• Small restoration work in the homes of the poor
• Small cooking activities
• Small jobs in the garden
• Help in the chicken houses
• Help at home (kitchen, laundry, etc. ..)
